Megamind is a 2010 Dreamworks movie, first released in the movie theaters on November 5, 2010 (at least in the USA). It's your seemingly cliche story about the good guy winning against the bad guy and getting the girl as a sweet prize.
And yet, it's not like that at all! Meet Megamind, the hottest (and bluest) baddie you'll ever meet! Intelligent, looking good in black leather, and always attempting a devious plot in order to show the world just how bad he is, underneath that cool attitude is a person who isn't as evil as he thinks he is. But in a world where everyone thinks he's evil and only that, how in the world can he be anywhere GOOD?
Well, folks, don't look too far. Because as Metro Man says it - Heroes aren't born, they're MADE. Meaning? That people shouldn't dictate your own role in life, that it's up to you to be who you are and who you WANT to be. And when the chain of events that happen in the movie go along, you discover a side of Megamind that was always there - just waiting for Megamind himself to realize it -
That he's too good to be evil.
Petty, maybe. Even a downright thief. But to be truly evil? Nah. He's just a bad boy looking for the true meaning of his life. And when it goes down to the bottom line? He's there when you need him, all in bad-boy style. After all, it's not what you do, it's how you do it!
That, people, is Megamind.

Megamind (2010 Dreamworks Movie)
Megamind (the movie itself) is a computer generated 2010 Dreamworks movie about the lead guy (Megamind himself), starring as the 'villian' who battles his whole life against Metro Man. But when things start turning his way, he realizes that there are some things he shouldn't have done and goes out of his way to fix it. It's a funny and sweet movie that is endearing and at times just downright hilarious with all the character interaction.
Megamind (the Villain)
Megamind is a blue-skinned, with an enlarged head (that houses immense intelligence), alien that arrives upon the Earth ala Superman. But things never turned out right for this youngling as fate dealt him trouble after trouble, turning him into the 'villain' that he acts out as. With Metro Man as his arch-nemesis, he constantly kidnaps Roxanne Ritchi, the reporter who seems entirely in love with Metro Man.
With Minion as his, well, minion, as well as his many, many brain bots, he seeks to control and rule over Metro City. But when his actions actually DO something that he was aiming for (because he usually fails in all of his attempts of domination over Metroman), he finds himself getting everything he ever wanted. But with it comes a price - no matter how much he can get, there are still things he needs that seem to be denied to him.
So when he decides the only recourse is to recreate a hero, he never expected that in the end, he would be the hero that Metro City would need. With Tighten as his creation that goes out of whack, who proves that true evil exists, Megamind does what comes naturally - trickery and trying his hardest to be what he's always been -
A badass with a heart of gold.
